- 1 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 c. pancake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 can creamed corn
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. grated onion
- 1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
Directions

1Mix ingredients, saving eggs and milk to be stirred in last. Preheat oven to 400° if baking cornsticks or muffins or 375° if pan baking.
