- 2 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 1/2 c. Bisquick or self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 small can creamed corn
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. oil or melted butter
- 1 green onion
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- salt to taste
- 1 c. grated Cheddar
Directions

1In food processor, chop onion and jalapeno pepper.

2Add sugar, chili powder, salt and Cheddar.

3Coat large, cast-iron frypan with bacon grease.

4Pour in all mixed ingredients and bake at 375° about 30 to 40 minutes.
