Mexican Cornbread

- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 2 pkg. cornbread mix (I use Jiffy)
- 1 c. creamed corn
- 1 small can chopped green chilies
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. taco seasoning
- 1 whole onion, chopped
Directions

1Brown hamburger; drain excess grease.

2Add chilies, onion, water and taco seasoning and simmer about 15 minutes.

3Mix cornbread, corn, eggs and milk.

4Pour 1/2 mixture into a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.

5Top with hamburger mix and cheese.

6Add rest of cornbread mix.

7Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
