  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 lb. beef, cooked and drained
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can green chilies
  • 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Mix flour, cornmeal, milk, egg, sugar and corn. Pour 1/2 of mixture in iron skillet.

    Sprinkle meat and 1/2 cheese on top. Add other 1/2 of cornmeal mix.

    Spread rest of cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
