- 2 c. Ballard's cornbread mix
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped, or 3 Tbsp. jalapeno pepper
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 to 3/4 lb. extra sharp Cheddar cheese
