  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 c. self-rising corn meal
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can creamed corn
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. shredded mild cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno
  • 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
