  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes with green chilies, crushed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Mix first 7 ingredients in frying pan.

    Mix cornbread mix, milk and eggs in a separate bowl.

    Pour Jiffy mixture into greased casserole dish. Top with meat sauce, then 1 cup grated cheese and bake in oven at 400° for 30 minutes.
