- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz (mild Mexican flavor)
- 1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. Mexican cornbread mix
- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 3 Tbsp. chopped red pepper
Directions

1Brown meat; drain.

2Add onion and cook until tender.

3Stir in Cheez Whiz until melted.

4Spoon into oblong casserole dish. Prepare cornbread mix as directed.

5Add remaining ingredients, mixing just until moistened.

6Spoon over meat and cheese mixture. Bake at 375° for 16 to 18 minutes.
