- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 small onion
- 2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 2 pkg. flat round corn tortilla chips
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 2 tomatoes
- 1/2 head lettuce
- sour cream
Directions

1Brown hamburger in skillet; drain fat.

2Stir in 1 package taco seasoning mix with 1/2 cup water.

3Simmer for few minutes.

4In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer seasoned meat, diced onion, corn tortilla shells (the flat round shells), then Velveeta cheese, then hamburger, onions, shells cheese, etc.; on the last layer, pour a 1/2 cup of seasoning over the shells to soften them so they don't dry out in the oven.

5(Seasoning Mix = 1/2 package taco seasoning mix in a 1/2 glass water, stir up.)

6Cook for 20 to 25 minutes at 300°.

7Serve with salad or top with tomato, lettuce and sour cream.
