  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda and salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (No. 2) can undrained, crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring to a boil the milk, oleo and sugar.

    Add the vanilla after taking off the stove. When cake is done and taken out of the oven, pour hot topping over cake.
