- 1/4 c. bacon drippings or 1/2 stick butter
- 1 c. finely diced cooked beef
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 can kidney beans
- 2 c. shredded lettuce
Directions

1Saute chopped onions in a large skillet for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2Add beef, chili powder, salt and pepper; cook 1 minute.

3Add kidney beans and mix well.

4Cook slowly for 15 minutes, turning occasionally to blend in any crisp crust.
