- 1 lb. ground beef (can use ground turkey)
- 1 (12 oz.) jar Ortega thick and chunky salsa*
- 6 tostada shells or halved taco shells
- 1 c. refried beans (favorite brand)
- 1 c. dairy sour cream
- 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1 c.)
- shredded lettuce (for garnish)
Directions

1Brown ground meat and drain fat.

2Stir in 1/2 cup salsa. Spread 1/4 cup salsa in a 10-inch pie plate; top with tostadas or halved taco shells.

3Top with half of each of the beans, meat mixture, sour cream and cheese.

4Repeat layers; cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

5Top with lettuce, remaining salsa and additional sour cream.

6Makes 6 to 8 servings.
