Ingredients
- 1 (28 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 3/4 c. long grain rice
- 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
Directions

1In large skillet, stir together all ingredients except Cheddar cheese.

2Add 1 cup water.

3Bring to boil, reduce heat.

4Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender and most of liquid is absorbed.

5Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, if desired.
