  • 3 lb. boneless beef, cubed
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 (4 oz.) can whole green chiles, drained
  • 1/2 c. beef broth
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 3 to 4 potatoes, sliced

Directions

    Brown beef and onion in bacon drippings in Dutch oven.

    Cover and reduce heat.
