Mexican Taquitos

Ingredients

  • 1 I used left over chicken, but you can use any kind of meat
  • 1 packet of tortillas (quantity varies on amount of meat)
  • 1 Oil/ Crisco (for frying)
  • 1 Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 Sour Cream
  • 1 Hot Sauce
  • 1 Guacamole/ Avocado
  • 1 Cheese

Directions

    If using chicken, shred first

    Put oil or crisco in pan and turn heat up to low-medium
  3. 3
    Warm up a few tortillas (about 5 at a time) in the microwave for 30-60 seconds (cover with Damp paper towel to not dry them out)

    Roll a small amount of chicken in one tortilla.

    Repeat.

    Now the oil or crisco should be hot enough.

    Place each rolled tortilla in pan with fold side Down
  8. 8
    Turn each tortilla when browned on one side.

    Keep turning them until they are golden brown.

    You can place on a strainer to avoid any excess oil

    Serve with toppings and enjoy!
