Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped green onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 3 c. cooked white rice
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 3/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 c. grated sharp cheese
  • paprika

Directions

    Saute onions and bell pepper in margarine.

    Remove from heat; combine with remaining ingredients, except paprika.

    Toss lightly to mix and pour into a greased casserole dish.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Garnish with paprika.

    One cup chopped ham can be added to make a main dish.
