Microwave Caramel Corn

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3 to 4 qt. popped corn (about 15 c.)

Directions

    Put sugar, syrup, butter and salt in a 2-quart bowl and microwave on High.

    Boil for 2 minutes.

    Immediately add soda and pour over 3 to 4 quarts popped corn in a grocery sack.

    Shake and microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High.

    Shake and microwave 1 1/2 minutes longer.
  6. 6
    Shake and serve.
