Microwave Caramel Corn

Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 c. white syrup
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3 to 4 qt. popped corn (I use two bags light microwave popcorn)
Directions

1Pop the corn before making the syrup.

2Combine first three ingredients in 2-quart microwave dish.

3Bring to boil (3 minutes on High), then cook on High 2 minutes more.

4Stir after each cooking time.

5Remove from microwave.

6Add baking soda; stir well, then pour over popped corn, which you should have in large grocery bag (brown bag).

7Fold down top of bag and shake well.

8Cook in bag on High 1 1/2 minutes.

9Shake again; cook 1 1/2 minutes on High.

10(May need to add 1 1/2 minutes.)
