- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3 to 4 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in 4-cup glass microwave bowl.

2Bring to a boil.

3Cook on High for 2 more minutes.

4Remove from microwave and add baking soda; stir.

5Put popped popcorn in brown grocery bag.

6Pour syrup over popped corn. Close bag and shake.

7Cook in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on High.

8Shake bag well and cook 1 1/2 minutes more.

9Cool on cookie sheet.

10This way, you won't have to break it up too much.
