Microwave Cod Fillets

- 2 cod fillets
- 1 onion
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine (1/2 stick)
- lemon juice as desired
- paprika and parsley flakes (for garnish)
Directions

1In glass baking pan, slice onion and put in bottom of baking pan.

2Slice 1/2 stick of butter in thin slices; place over onions in bottom of baking dish.

3Put in cod fillets so they are lying flat.

4Sprinkle lemon juice on top of fillets.

5Cover with microwave wrap; vent one of the corners to release the steam. Bake on High for 7 minutes if frozen or 4 to 4 1/2 minutes if thawed.

6Take out of microwave; turn fillets over and bake on High for 7 minutes if fillet was frozen or 4 to 4 1/2 minutes if fillet was thawed.

7Cover again with microwave wrap.
