  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/4 c. (light) corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 qt. popped corn or 1/3 grocery sack

    Boil first four ingredients 5 minutes.

    Add baking soda and pour over popped corn. Put in sack in microwave 1 minute on High. Shake 1 minute.

    Pour on waxed paper.

    Let cool.

    Break up. Peanuts are optional.
