  • 3 c. powdered dry milk
  • 2 Tbsp. melted clarified butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. rose water
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped pistachio or walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cardamon

Directions

    Dissolve the sugar in water and cook in a saucepan until it forms a thick syrup.

    Remove from heat.

    Add butter.

    Gradually add the powdered milk, stirring constantly.

    Return to heat (very low burner) and stir for about 2 minutes.

    Add rose water.

    Stir (batter is thick).
