Mignonne'S Spinach Bread

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) French rolls or twin loaves French bread
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 (16 oz.) roll jalapeno cheese
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Drain spinach and squeeze dry with paper towel; set aside. Cut rolls in half lengthwise; spread with 1/4 cup softened margarine.

    Saute onion in 1/4 cup melted margarine.

    Add cheese roll, stirring until cheese melts.

    Remove from heat; add spinach, Worcestershire sauce and pepper, stirring well.

    Spread spinach mixture on bread, sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 8 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve immediately. Yields 12 servings.
