Milk Nut Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, mix sugar, butter or margarine, marshmallows and milk.

    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and is bubbly all over top.

    Boil and stir for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in vanilla and chocolate morsels until melted.

    Stir in nuts.

    Spread in buttered 9-inch square pan.

    Cool thoroughly.

    Cut into about 30 pieces.
