  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

    Melt the candy and 1 stick of butter and set aside.

    Cream the sugar and 1 stick of butter.

    Add eggs.

    Sift together the flour, soda and baking powder.

    Add flour mixture and buttermilk to eggs and sugar mixture, alternating.

    Add candy and pecans.

    Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350° in tube pan.
