  • 6 Milky Way candy bars
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt butter and candy bars on low heat.

    Beat shortening and sugar, add eggs one at a time.

    Combine salt and flour and add to sugar mixture.

    Add milk; beat well.

    Then add candy mixture, nuts and vanilla.

    Pour into greased tube pan.

    Bake at 325° for 2 hours and 10 minutes.
