- 1 lb. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 4 c. all-purpose flour (sifted 4 times)
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Have eggs, butter and milk at room temperature.

2Combine sugar, a cup at a time, to the softened butter until light and fluffy.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

4Sift flour four times and add to creamed mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each.

5Stir in milk and flavorings.

6Pour in well-greased and floured tube pan.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
