- 2 c. softened butter (no substitutions)
- 3 c. sugar
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. almond extract
- 6 eggs
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter well.

2Gradually add sugar; beat well.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each other.

4Add flour alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.

5Mix until just blended after each addition.

6Add and stir in extract.

7Pour in greased and floured 10-inch pan.

8Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

9Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing to wire rack.
