- 1 lb. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed.

2Add eggs, beating after each addition.

3Add flour alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.

4Mix until just blended after each addition.

5Stir in flavorings.

6Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

8Cool in pan 15 minutes.

9Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
