Million Dollar Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. regular lemon jello
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drain both cans (keep juice)
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 small bottle maraschino cherries, cut up
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 pkg. cream cheese (small size)
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream

Directions

    Dissolve lemon jello in 1 cup boiling water.

    Add pineapple juice and cool.

    Add all remaining ingredients, except whipped cream and cheese.

    Let set in refrigerator until it begins to jell.

    Soften cheese and whip cream.

    Add cheese to cream and then add to jello mixture and return to refrigerator.

    Place ingredients into square pan.

    Cut into squares and serve as salad or desert.
