Mini Apple Pies

  • 1 whole Macintosh Apple
  • 1/2 whole Granny Smith Apple
  • 1/4 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon White Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Tapioca
  • 1 dash Cinnamon, To Taste
  • 1 dash Nutmeg, To Taste
  • 1 whole Homemade Or Store Bought Pie Crust
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten With A Splash Of Cream

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Peel, core and cut apples into wedges. Place in a bowl and add lemon juice, white sugar, tapioca, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix.

    Roll out pie dough and place in a ramekin. Put apple mixture in the ramekin.

    Fold crust over the top.

    Beat egg and add a splash of cream (this is your egg wash). Brush egg wash over the top.

    Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes then turn down oven to 350 degrees for 25 minutes more.

    Tip: Place on a cookie sheet for easy removal.
