  • 1/4 cups PLUS 1 Tablespoon Shortening, Cold

  • 1/4 cups Ice Water
  • 1 Egg (for Egg Wash)

  • FOR THE APPLE FILLING:
  • 3 Large Apples, Peeled And Cored
  • 1/4 cups Plus 2 Tablespoons Light Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Salt
