  • 1 box (about 18 Oz. Size) Duncan Hines Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1/3 cups Oil
  • 2/3 cups Water
  • 16 ounces, weight Tub Of Frosting, For Decorating
  • Sprinkles For Decorating

Directions

    In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, egg, oil and water and stir to combine. This is your donut batter. Then, cook the donuts per manufacturer's instructions for your donut maker. (Note: In gauging how to adjust another brand/variety of cake mix, please note that this box mix called for 3 eggs, 1/2 cup oil and 1 1/3 cups water. Again, I played with the ratios to make the consistency of the batter similar to cheesecake batter.)
