Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. Bisquick
  • 1/4 c. margarine, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. boiling water
  • 6 to 7 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 c. half and half
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. thinly sliced onions
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • dash of cayenne pepper

Directions

    Generously grease 24 small muffin cups.

    Mix Bisquick and margarine.

    Add boiling water.

    Stir vigorously forming soft dough.

    Press rounded teaspoonful on bottom and sides of muffin cups.

    Divide bacon in cups.

    Beat half and half and egg.

    Stir in onions and seasonings.

    Spoon 1 1/2 teaspoons in each cup. Sprinkle cheese over top.

    Bake at 375° until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
