- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 marshmallows
- 3 drops peppermint
- 3 c. walnuts
Directions

1Cook together the sugar, corn syrup, water and salt.

2Cook until soft ball forms.

3Test in cold water or with candy thermometer.

4Add marshmallows; stir until melted.

5Add peppermint and nuts; stir until each nut is covered and mixture hardens. Drop onto paper, a teaspoonful at a time, to cool.

6These can be kept in a tightly covered jar for at least a week and can be frozen indefinitely.
