Minted Pecans

Ingredients

  • 3 c. pecans, halved
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. oil of peppermint (from your pharmacist)
  • 1 Tbsp. creme de menthe
  • 6 large marshmallows
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cook sugar, salt, Karo and water to soft ball stage.

    Chop marshmallows and add to mixture to melt.
  3. 3
    Add oil of peppermint and creme de menthe to mixture.

    Stir in pecans until mix begins to harden.

    Spread on waxed paper to cool; separate.
