  • 6 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon bonito-flavored soup stock
  • 1/4 cup white miso (soybean paste)
  • 1/2 cup cubed firm tofu (about 3 ounces)
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions

Directions

    Combine water and soup stock in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Add miso, and cook until miso is blended, stirring constantly. Ladle soup into bowls, and sprinkle evenly with tofu and green onions.
