- 1 1/2 lb. butter
- 6 eggs (room temperature)
- 3 c. cake four
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. whipped cream
Directions

1Beat sugar into softened butter.

2Add eggs, one at a time, still beating.

3Add flour, whipped cream and vanilla gradually and gently.

4Pour into greased and floured loaf pan and sprinkle with sugar.

5Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.

6Cool.

7Remove from pan. Serve with fruit and vanilla ice cream.
