Mocha Rum Balls

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Maxin 100% freeze dried coffee
  • 1/4 c. rum
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. fine vanilla
  • wafer crumbs
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. unsifted confectioners sugar
  • dash of salt

Directions

    Dissolve coffee in rum and water in a bowl.

    Add remaining ingredients and mix throughly.

    Roll into balls, using a rounded teaspoonful of mixture for each.

    Store in tightly covered container for several days.

    Then roll in additional confectioners sugar.

    Yields 4 dozen rum balls.
