  • 1 1/2 ounces sherry
  • 1 1/2 ounces sloe gin
  • 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 or 4 ice cubes
  • Twist lemon peel
  • Chilled club soda

Directions

    Combine sherry, sloe gin, sugar, lemon juice and ice cubes in a mixing glass and stir well.

    Strain into a highball glass, add the lemon peel and fill up with soda.
