Moist Chocolate Chip Cookie

  • 1 c. (2 sticks) butter
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 (4 serving size) Jell-O vanilla flavor instant pudding
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate flavored chips
  • 1 c. nuts (optional)

Directions

    Heat oven to 375°. Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Mix in flour and baking soda; stir in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool on wire racks. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
