  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 teaspoons crushed garlic
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 14 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 5 leaves recao or 12 cup cilantro leaf, chopped
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 4 ounces capers
  • 1 ounce vinegar
  • 1 (4 ounce) can roasted red peppers

    In medium pan, add oil and saute peppers and onions.

    Add remaining ingredients, except tomato sauce, and cook for 5 minutes.
