Ingredients

  • 3 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/8 tsp. soda

Directions

    Cook sugar, molasses, vinegar and butter slowly until it forms a brittle string dropped into cold water or reaches 260°.

    Stir in the soda.

    Pour in buttered pan to cool.
  4. 4
    When cool enough to handle, pull until cream colored.
  5. 5
    Twist and cut with scissors.
