Molded Ham Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon or more grated green onion
  • dash tabasco
  • 2 cups cooked ham, ground
  • 1 cup salad dressing

Directions

    Soak gelatin in cold water.

    Bring tomato juice, vinegar, paprika, green onion and tabasco to boiling.

    Add soaked gelatin to boiling mixture.

    Allow to cool.

    Mix ground ham with salad dressing and add to cooled gelatin mixture.

    Pour into oiled ring mold.

    To serve, unmold and fill center with celery leaves or cottage cheese.

    Serves 4-6.
