  • 5 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • unbaked deep dish pie shell
  • 1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese (save 3/4 c. for top)
  • 1 small can Durkee fried onions (have 1/4 c. for top)
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Put into an unbaked pie shell in this order:

    cheese and onion rings mixed together and celery and green pepper mixed together.

    Beat eggs until just blended; add milk and mustard.

    Pour over other ingredients.

    Bake for 45 minutes.

    Top with remaining cheese and onion rings as soon as quiche comes out of the oven.
