  • 1 (No. 2) can creamed corn (2 1/2 c.)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 c. milk
  • 5 beaten eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. cold water

Directions

    Combine corn, salt, sugar, butter, milk and eggs.

    Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into corn mixture.

    Pour into greased, shallow 2-quart baking dish and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until the custard is firm.
