  • 2 teasp. sugar
  • 2 teasp. cornstarch
  • 4 teasp. dry sherry
  • 4 teasp. hoisin
  • 2 teasp. rice vinegar
  • 1.5 teasp. chili paste
  • 1/2 teasp. salt
  • 2-3 teasp. peanut oil
  • 2 tablesp. minced garlic
  • 2 tablesp. minced ginger
  • 1.5-2 pounds skirt steak thinly sliced ax grain
  • 16 green onions ... green part only put into small 1 inch slices

    combine first 8 ingredients and whisk until smooth

    heat peanut oil

    add ginger, garlic and beef... saute 2 mins until beef is browned

    add onions, saute 30 secs.

    add soy sauce mixture cook 1 min. or until thickened, stirring constantly
