- 1 lb. beef flank or boneless sirloin steak
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- dash of white pepper
- 1 green onion (with tops)
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. finely chopped ginger root
- 1 tsp. finely chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Trim fat from beef steak.

2Cut strips into 1/8-inch slices. Toss beef, the cornstarch, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, salt, sugar, 1 teaspoon soy sauce and white pepper in medium glass or plastic bowl.

3Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
