Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. milk, heated to lukewarm
- 4 Tbsp. sugar (1/4 c.)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour (approximately)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk. Stir in sugar, salt and melted butter (margarine).

2Add flour and beat well.

3Let rise until almost double in bulk.

4Punch down and roll out on lightly floured board to 1/4-inch thick. Cut in about 2-inch pieces. Dip each piece in melted butter.

5Pile in buttered pans (I use tube pan) until half full.

6Let rise to double in bulk.

7Bake at 400° for 30 minutes. Serve uncut.

8It is already buttered.
