  • 3 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 12 drops peppermint or wintergreen

Directions

    Boil sugar and water together until a small amount of it dropped in cold water forms a small ball (234° on candy thermometer).

    Add flavoring.

    Remove from heat and beat until mixture thickens.
  4. 4
    Drop from spoon, forming thin patties onto waxed paper.
  5. 5
    Keep candy over hot water while forming patties. Cool.
  6. 6
    Makes 4 dozen small mints.
